DESCRIPTIONAntique 19th Century Austrian exceptional solid silver gilt, enamel, rock crystal, gem set ewer. Made in the style of David Altenstetter, with three intricately hand carved rock crystal panels, mounted in chased gilt mounts, vari-colour enamels and set with rubies, supported by three satyrs, with monster spout and snake handle. Hallmarked Austrian-Hungarian silver Diana's head (900 standard, used 1867-1922), Vienna, circa 1880, No Makers marks, possibly by (Hermann Ratzersdorfer, active 1843-1881)CONDITIONIn Great Condition - no damage, just general wear.
