What Makes Boucheron Special?
Boucheron is a fine jewelry house with headquarters in Paris, France. It is now owned by the luxury group Kering, which also owns Gucci, Puma and Yves Saint Laurent among others.
History of Boucheron
The house was founded by Frederic Boucheron in 1858. His first workshop was opened in 1866. Place Vendôme, where many French jewelers can be found nowadays, was pretty vacant back in the day. It is known that Boucheron is among the first designers to set camp there. After opening, Boucheron catered to personalities like Queen Elizabeth, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, as well as to Queen Farida of Egypt, Prince Felix Youssoupoff, Riza Shah Pahlevi and others. Boucheron was purchased by Gucci in 2000 and 4 years later by PPR, which became Kering in the meantime. Numerous lines of jewelry pieces were created throughout the years, more notably the Snake, Jaipur and Diablotine.
Rarity & Exclusivity of Boucheron
No matter if we’re talking about a piece of jewelry or a luxury watch made by Boucheron, the attention to detail is absolutely phenomenal. A watch like the Boucheron WA010231 is an outstanding piece. Boucheron has decades upon decades of experience, which means their products are truly of the highest quality. Of course, we must not take for granted the fact that the company has manufactured jewelry for royal personalities. It adds some more trustworthiness into the equation. There are plenty of other jewelry houses, but Boucheron is yet to be matched in terms of quality and craftsmanship.
