About Fabrik Gallery
Evolving from a private collection in 2007, Fabrik Gallery features original paintings, limited editions, sculpture and photography from its space in Sheung Wan, Hong Kong’s up-and-coming art enclave and host to over 20 art galleries.
Since its inception in 2007, Fabrik Gallery’s ambition has been to showcase some of the world’s most collectable emerging and mid-career artists, and outstanding works by acclaimed contemporary artists. With one of the most active exhibit calendars of any gallery in Hong Kong and some of the liveliest openings, the gallery team is informed and welcoming in engaging both the seasoned collector and first-time buyer.
Gallery founder Mark Saunderson is also active in supporting a broader public interest in contemporary art, both as a founding board member of the Hong Kong Art Gallery Association and as co-founder and Director of the Asia Contemporary Art Show, which showcases more than 100 galleries twice each year to coincide with Hong Kong’s key art-buying seasons in Spring and Fall. And in Southeast Asia’s fast emerging arts hub, the Singapore Contemporary Art Show held annually to coincide with Singapore Art Week. The organizer of the three art shows also produces Asia’s largest art website Asia Contemporary Art Buyer (www.asiacontemporaryart.com) online 24/7 for browsing and buying art.
