Extremely rare and early example of steel black Rolex ref. 3525 manufactured in the 1940s. Amazing unrestored black dial featuring gilt graphics. Tachymeter and telemeter scales as well as "Fab Swiss" at the lower edge, below the 6 o' clock position. Steel Rolex Bracelet.
In 1939 Rolex launched reference 3525, which was one of the first chronograph wristwatches fitted in an Oyster case. Early models like the present one had the serial number engraved on the case back. This reference is also known among collectors as POW "Prisoner of War".
