GRAPHIC PASSION The Elena Ghisellini Fall/Winter 2016/2017 collection is hallmarked by “Graphic Passion”: the combination of opposing elements that create a modern whole which is captivating in its joyous irony.
The collection plays on Elena’s talent for mixing shapes and colors to generate unpredictable effects that go perfectly with any look.
The final result is a proposal of truly irresistible objects.
The graphic and geometric themes employed to update the iconic models comprise stripes of different widths and colors, mixtures of mini and maxi polka dots, animal and optical graphics and combinations of metal triangles. All these come together in a unified and consistent harmony that ever more potently underscores the Ghisellini style.
The new bag is the Top Handle Angel, specially conceived for the role of an absolute must-have.A flap bag with a handle in maxi-chain hand-threaded with leather laces: an essential and elegant, ultra-dynamic shape.
Angel is a perfect model for day-into-evening use. Proposed in two sizes (Medium and Small) it’s a bag that Elena herself defines as universal: “a bag for every woman”.
The dominant colors of the reds range are inspired by Pompeii: the red shades of its frescoes represent the soul of the collection, offset by geometrics, optical contracts, white/black and the metallic reflections of contemporary architecture.
The new proposals of the Capsule Collection simply cannot be missed: the new Gothic Tiger print for the iconic Gabria and Angel bags, the metal staples used to stitch the leather for a Chic Punk effect, the captivating mix of coloured furs in pure Elena Ghisellini style and the Lolita charm for an ironic Gothic flavour.
