1947 Harley-Davidson Knucklehead Custom
Built by renowned Eastern Fabrications out of Branford, Connecticut. The "Speed Fetus" is a true fully functional Art Piece with well over 2,000 hrs of build time! Boasting an array of hand made parts & antique parts from Harley-Davidson, Moto-Guzzi, Triumph, and Indian.
The Speed Fetus was designed to capture the Japanese Harley scene that is so popular, though sets itself far apart from anything seen before.
This bike has huge amount of "spirit". What I mean by that is attempting to engineer in a sense of history, memories, wear and tear, wrenching, and patination.
After any E-Fab bike is built it is put through a vigorous "Research & Development" process to make sure the bike is strong, reliable & fully functional.
The powerplant is an original 74" OHV 1947 Harley-Davidson Knucklehead engine, adapted to an Indian Chief Overdrive 4-speed transmission and chain-drive primary all with modern internal components for strong performance, reliability and function.

Every single aspect of the "Speed Fetus" is custom made or modified by hand with excellent attention to detail.
Starting from the front we have a Moto-Guzzi front end fitted to a modified Triumph drum brake & 21" Akront rim, custom 7/8" handlebars with leather grips made to imitate real wood!
The 18" rear wheel was designed in house and is fitted next to a mono-shock Öhlins made specifically for this project. For brakes we have a vintage Performance Machine two piston caliper with more than enough stopping power!
All Stainless Steel Hardware
The handlebar risers, throttle linkage, tank emblems, gas cap, shift knob, exhaust tip, seat and tool bag buckles were all carved from jewelers wax & casted in bronze... from there all pieces were sanded, polished and antiqued.
2-into-1 exhaust for good exhaust flow and better performance.
The majority of the bikes finishes (tanks,fender,frame,nuts & bolts,etc) are copper plated and treated with an antiquing acid. This creates a depth to the finish and a variation in color.
Alternator has been upgraded to a Powermaster 12 volt race alternator
With a 28 degree rake the bike is a blast to ride, and is very agile.
