An early 20th century tortoiseshell photograph frame of rectangular form with an arched top centred by an unmarked silver badge for the Royal Artillery Company formed with a large-wheeled cannon surmounted by a crown and motto, the frame with six small silver studs.
The Royal Artillery Company badge has the motto "Quo Fas Et Gloria Ducunt, Ubique" which is Latin for "Where Right and Glory Lead, Everywhere". The Company have been active since 1716 and have formed an important part of the British Army for almost 300 years. It is rare to find a tortoiseshell photograph frame bearing the Company's badge.
