A collector's dream!

With the new generation Torino set to debut for 1970, the Oregon Ford Dealer Association wanted to release a special edition to help promote the new body style. The aptly named NorthWest Edition featured a muscle car appearance with black hoods, dual chrome lock pins, dual racing mirrors and rocker panel stripes. Three factory special colors were available; Oregon Orange, Washington Green and the stunning Pacific Blue. While 601 N/W Torino's were planned only 395 were built, five of which received the 429ci engine and of the five only one was constructed with the C-code Cobra Jet 429.

The 1970 Ford Torino NorthWest Edition 429 Cobra Jet featured here is finished in stunning Pacific Blue with a gorgeous black interior. This exquisite, one off example is the only one fitted from the factory with a Cobra Jet 429 engine. The Torino is still equipped with its original tags located on the engine, transmission and rear differential verifying it as a numbers matching example. We are proud to offer one of the most coveted muscle cars on the market today to the most astute collector or enthusiast who understands and appreciates the rarity and investment potential of this great American marque.
