This is a one of kind early 19th century Louis XV Grand Palace giltwood sofa that features a solid wood frame with its original gilt. Decorating the sofa frame are intricate hand carvings of scrolls, leafs, flowers, sea shells and big flowers and the frame is finished with curved carved legs. This masterpiece has a seat that is 31 inches in depth with a tufted back. The sofa has been professionally upholstered in a silk velvet fabric with a tufted back and double piping trim detail. The sofa is strong, sturdy and ready to be enjoyed for many years to come.
