Full medium-deep red. Full-blown aromas of cooked strawberry, mocha, menthol, brown spices and prune, with mineral and marzipan notes emerging with air. Then almost shockingly penetrating and delineated on the palate, conveying an impression of thrust without weight. Strawberry and raspberry flavors are complicated by a hint of exotic fruits. The wine's very firm tannic spine will require at least a few years of additional aging.
