Antique 19th Century French exceptional solid silver tea service, of large size and heavy gauge, comprising: a teapot, coffee pot, sugar bowl and cream jug. Made in Rococo style, the body spirally fluted, elaborately decorated with scrolls, shells and flowers and lids applied with cast dragon finials, all raised on four rocialle scroll feet. Hallmarked French silver guarantee mark (950 standard, used 1838-present), Paris, 1886, Makers Mark F.C (F. Couquaux)
