DESCRIPTION

Antique early-19th Century Swiss 18k three-colour gold wax case, of tapering octagonal form, all sides of the case have beautiful floral decoration and bears a crowned family crest to be used as a seal. Hallmarked inside with double marks (indistinct and unknown to me), acid test shows 750 standard, the design is topically Swiss and the piece dates to the early part of the 19th century.
