### DESCRIPTION

Antique early-20th Century French Art Deco 18k gold vanity case, of rectangular form with rounded corners, the lid set with a pyramid shaped jade, rows of diamonds and emeralds, set in platinum, the whole box is applied with black lacquer. The push button set with diamonds, inside revealing an empty compartment and a lid set mirror.

Hallmarked French 18k gold (owl, 750 gold standard), English import marks, London, year 1929 (o), 18-75, Importer C.F (unknown to me), the box dates to 1920-25 and is a stunning example of the early Art Deco pieces.
