Antique early-20th Century Japanese Meiji Period solid silver massive eight-piece tea & coffee service, exceptional and magnificent quality, embossed and applied with chrysanthemum flowers, blossoming cherry trees on matted ground, flowers partially applied with gold decoration, mounted with bamboo C-form handles and lids set with Iris bulbs.

Hallmarked with the Junjin marks (950+ high grade silver), Maker Miyamoto Skoko, active in Tokyo (1880 - present), high class manufacturer and retailer who held the Royal Warrant as the suppliers to the Imperial household, a rare privilege at the time.
