Antique original wooden sculpture, in gilt poplar wood, probably of the 16th / 17th century, Italian Renaissance, Tuscany. A great piece, coming from my private collection inherited from my family. As shown in pictures, the sculpture is to be restored, it partly underwent an old restoration on the upper part. Originally it had to be a large torch holder sculpture or a Cherub.
