Mirror with important wooden frame, carved and gilded (mecca), in revival of Rocaille style. The decoration made with carvings consists of a wide frieze with asymmetrical scrolls which develop on the sides and end with stylised acanthus leaves. The frame border has a wavy pattern, with carved stylised shells alternating with scrolls and foliage of flowers and leaves. Size: cm 217 x 115.Origin: Northern Italy.Period: mid-19th century (the frame). The bevelled mirror dates back to the 20th century. Preserved in good condition.
