ARGENTINA

Price On Request

Keen to develop some heli-skiing options in South America we first took our skis down to Argentina in August 2006. We visited Bariloche in the south before driving over 1,000 kilometres north to the higher and more dramatic Andes around Las Lenas and the Chilean border. This is where the big mountains are and if you want to heli-ski in Argentina, it's the place to be.

_Picture this:_ Your legs are weary –in a satisfied kind of way - from the best day’s skiing of your life. Freshly massage and relaxed to the core you sip on a deep purply-red Malbec and gaze out across acres of private vineyards towards the magnificent snow covered Andes where you spot a distinctive peak in the distance. Hours earlier you stood on top looking down with excited anticipation at miles of untouched sparkling powder, knowing that yours would be the first tracks down it – ever.

Luxury Hotel, Fine Food and Wine

We love great food, we love great wine and we love great skiing. This is where they meet and this is where they combine with genuine 5-star luxury. Named by Condé Nast as one of the best new hotels in the world and a member of the prestigious Leading Hotels of the World Group, The Vines Resort and Spa is where serious luxury and world-class cuisine meet some of the finest heli-skiing in South America. Stunning local wines compliment exquisite local ingredients prepared by one of Argentina's finest chef, Francis Mallmann. Don’t be surprised if you look forward to dinner as much as the next day’s skiing.

Be a Pioneer

There is something that bit extra special about skiing where no one has ever skied before. Looking back up at your turns and deciding what to name your run. It won’t stay that way forever but for now at least there are abundant opportunities to pioneer first descents and put your mark on the map of Argentinian skiing history.
