Rare Charles X walnut table made in France. It has maple inlays and an inlaid hexagonal central leg, which rests on three arched feet. The table is embellished with delicate naturalistic inlays, with scrolls of leaves and swans. On the front, the inlay is made in the typical Charles X style, with symmetrical scrolls of leaves. The high quality of the inlay and the originality of the model suggest that the item comes from a noble or at least middle-class environment. The use of light-coloured wood on a dark background for the inlays is typical of the Charles X style. The top is made of Carrara marble.
