This 1820's French Louis XVI-style pediment is made of walnut wood stained in a deep walnut color with a polished finish. The intricately carved pediment depicts a naval ship with a lion's head on the bow and a crown at the top of the mast and oars on either side of the ship. Framing the ship are spears draped with swagging fabric and acanthus leaves. The pediment rests on a bases. This pediment is sturdy, stunning, and ready to be used in any home or office for years to come.
