Extraordinary pair of antique wall oval mirrors from the 18th century, preserved in very good condition, with normal signs of wear due to their age (in fairness they have a small scratch on one glass, clearly visible in the photos). Carved and painted wooden frame with gold leaf, decorated with flowers and leaves. The mirror was made with the old technique of Venetian craftsmen of the 18th century (mercury mirror). In the lower part of the two mirrors there is a wrought iron slot which was used as a support to insert a candle holder to illuminate the mirror. Size: height 42 cm x width 26 cm. These 2 mirrors will be sent carefully packaged in a box and delivered via couriers chosen by Catawiki. Considering the intrinsic value of these items, they will be sent with trackable insured parcel (with VAT and insurance costs at my own expense).
