The Arms of Preston for Viscount Gormanston

Weighable silver: 4,760g, 153 oz 1dwt
The entrée dishes are of shaped melon form bearing melon flowers, acanthus leaves and shells to the boarders of the base. This design is repeated to the top and underside of the covers. The heavy cast handles again having melon fruits and design. The bottom dish bears a viscount’s coronet and fox crest. The cover bearing the family’s coat of arms to both sides; the family of Preston. The silver entrée dishes are presented on their origin warming bases. Fully hallmarked to the base, cover and handles.
