This impressive chateau is luxuriously situated in parkland and ancient woodland of 35 hectares in the very heart of Provence, yet only 25 minutes from Avignon.

With its columns, its typical pediments and pillars the chateau entrance serves as a perfect example of neo-classical architecture. This impressive property has always been maintained to the highest standards by its successive owners and today, it can boast 1500m2 of living space, with numerous outbuildings and annexes, axll of which are in immaculate condition.

With its ideal geographical location basking under the Provencal sun, this vast estate with refined architectural lines and its beautifully welcoming cour d'honneur, one can only say that the chateau is a residence of discreet charm.

Dating back to 1628, the original chateau was destroyed during the Revolution of 1789,and was rebuilt later at the beginning of the 19th century. The new construction is built upon an elevated site overlooking the Auzon, and is surrounded by high ramparts, two stone tablets of which are inscribed with the date of the completion of the construction (1838) and its surrounding walls (1863)
The chateau is listed in the 'Inventaire Supplmentaire des Monuments Historique' according to the decree of 31st May 1945. This gracious chateau was entirely restored by its new owner and it undoubtedly remains one of the finest in Provence.
All the furniture in the reception rooms and bedrooms is to be included in the sale, along with a piano and fully equipped kitchen with crockery and household linen.

A large entrance porch opens out onto the cour d'honneur, in front of which is an ornamental pond, bordered by lime trees.
Opposite is a vast residence comprising of two perpendicular wings, the dwelling thus offering two living spaces.
The columns surrounding the chateau entrance support a fine terrace with balustrades, whilst the castle door features the family crest. With recent renovations and regular maintenance of the residence, nothing has been left to chance, both architecturally and in terms of comfort. Such refined decor is the fruit of a harmonious fusion of family antiques and regional 'objets d'art.'

The ground floor
The central feature of the ground floor is a majestic hallway. To the south, the castle offers a spectacular choice of five gracious living spaces, a library, a Henry II dining room, a large reception room, another reception room and a master bedroom with dressing and bathroom, an office and kitchen, which is equipped to the highest standards and adapted to cater for officers of state. The Henry II dining hall is classed as a historical monument. It has a decorative hand painted ceiling, padded in embossed leather in the traditional 'Cordoue' style.
Of artistic note in the large reception room, there are four Italianate pillars of pink marble, and 'Zuber' monochrome painted murals on the walls. This looks out onto a spacious terrace dominating the gardens and meadow below.

The first floor
A very elegant staircase leads to the first floor and to the large airy gallery, which in turn gives access to six finely appointed bedrooms.
The rooms are bright and of generous volume, the mood is sober and refined, decorated with sophistication. All modern comforts, such as internet connections, air conditioning and satellite television are blended discreetly into the surroundings. All them have very comfortable en suite bathrooms, most with a separate shower and wc.

Set into a backdrop of 90 acres, the estate is characterised by a unique range of vegetation, in terms of age and variety.
The large pathways are flanked by well- established oaks, cypress trees, pine trees, maple trees and palm trees, some of which are several hundred years old.
Rare specimens such as the Canadian Endive grow alongside bamboo gardens and numerous other hedges and bushes, creating a veritable feast for the eyes.
The enchanting orangery is the ideal place to relax or organise a lunch party, positioned just beside the swimming pool and tennis court and surrounded by lavender bushes.

Out-buildings:
- Loft
One of the two chateau wings in the cour d'honneur houses a 'loft style' apartment decorated in a modern, contemporary but elegant style. With a large surface area of 117m2, and perfectly integrated under the magnificent woodwork, the apartment has a 40m2 teak floored terrace with a view of the cour d'honneur and the facade of the castle, whilst being gently shaded by the many lime trees. On the ground-floor level of the apartment there is a workshop, covering the same surface area of 117m2.
- Guardian's Lodge and outbuildings
The other building in the cour d'honneur comprises of two floors with a total surface area of 240m2. The 80m2 apartment which backs onto the main building, has been occupied by the same guardians for the last 25 years, who have no doubt an unrivalled understanding and appreciation of the property.
- The annexes
In the grounds, there are two Mediterranean gites (of 40m2 and 50m2) both providing guest accommodation for 2 to 3 people. Built upon two levels, they comprise of a fully equipped kitchen-diner and a reception room with fireplace. Upstairs, there is a bedroom, a bathroom with bath, fitted cupboards, a safe, television and internet connection.
- The 'Little Farm'
Situated right at the edge of the domain is an old agricultural building of 160m2, 80m2 of which are habitable.
