This very beautiful 190 SL has a rare colour combination - it has a yellow body, a dark green leather interior and a black convertible hood. The car has been in my possession since 1993 and was professionally restored during that time, it was carefully maintained, regularly serviced and, above all: driven. During a general technical overhaul in the year 2001, it was decided to switch to Weber carburettors, inspired by the example of our Italian friends. Due to this measure, the engine runs a lot more smoothly and quietly, and it has a softer response, especially at low revs. In addition, all the formerly indispensable excessive and complicated adjustments of the Solex carburettors are completely eliminated. It is not without reason that many 190 SLs in Italy have Weber carburettors. Of course, the original Solex carburettors will be supplied with the car, so that the buyer can retrofit it according to their own taste. The car has just passed the German technical inspection (TÜV) without any problems or remarks, the inspection is valid until 04/2020. The last valuation report from April 2017 states that the car is in grade 2- condition with a commercial value of €100,000 and a replacement value of €120,000. In addition to the aforementioned Solex carburettors, the unrestored original hardtop with a large rear window as well as various small spare parts worth over €3,500 in total are included in the price.
