Beautifully restored MGA Roadster from September 1957. Complete history is known! A unique opportunity for the enthusiast. This MG was imported from Rochester, New York, USA, in 2009 and improvements were made where necessary by the current owner, it has new chrome, a revised engine / gearbox and new leather upholstery. The entire MG was resprayed at the time. The paint is now in neat and nice condition. Exterior: This MGA features Tartan red lacquer, new chrome bumpers, new grill, neat seams with a good fit and original grey body-piping between the screens. It has a chrome luggage rack and petrol filler cap, new mirrors, original spoked rims with neat Vredestein Classic Tyres with a good profile. The original side windows are included as well as a spare tyre, cover and storage cover for the windows.  The MGA has a neat soft top with clear windows. Interior: Original steel dashboard in Tartan red, new chrome around the gauges, original MGA speaker, new red leather seats, new carpet, new door locks, door seals and window rubbers and new red door pockets. The carpet is in perfect condition. Neat tonneau cover, cover and soft top. Unique, original bakelite steering wheel and chrome rearview mirror in original condition.Mechanics: The MG has its original 1489cc engine with over 72bhp. It starts perfectly, drives like a charm and shifts properly. The cylinder head is lead-free and the engine was completely overhauled during the restoration, the carburetors were overhauled and various other parts such as the dynamo, radiator and cabling were renewed. It has two open air filters, original engine badges and new hoses and clamps. The electrics work perfectly and the suspension and brakes are in excellent condition. History:- Newly purchased by Jack from Rochester, New York, USA- 60,000 Miles driven in 6 to 8 years - transferred to his son who stored it for 15 years. - Restoration and revision of engine and body started after 15 years. - Sold in 1982 to James P.
