Combining jaunty angles and graceful curves in a harmonious union, Model 548 is one of Sarfatti's most iconic and endearing table lamps. A generously sized oblong diffuser in vibrant methacrylate softens the light emitted by the adjustable white aluminum spotlight to a gentle glow. The original push button switch has been updated with a touch-operated optical dimming sensor that allows the user to adjust the level of brightness to their liking with a simple tap. A substantial brass bar acts as a counterweight and adds visual balance to this amiable asymmetrical design. Made in Italy by Flos, a manufacturer with work in the MoMA collection.
