Mezzoracolo table of floor lamp by Gae Aulenti for Artemide, 1970s

Price On Request

_Mezzoracolo_ table or floor lamp by Italian architect Gae Aulenti, executed by Artemide. This is the smaller version, but it is still 67 cm high. The larger version is named _Oracolo_, and the height of this lamp is 140 cm.

A large white globe in opal glass sits atop a dark cylindrical brown-coated metal base. The light switch has two positions for a softer and stronger light intensity. The light switch is clearly original as is made of the same material as the base of the lamp.

The lamp is described in 'Repertoire del Design Italiano 1950-2000' by Giuliana Gramigna on Page 164 (1969).
