I am not always conscious of it, but the objective of this collection is not strictly nar-rative. The boxing ring constitutes a autonomous and coherent world, one marked by precise ritual. The walls are like a sky, a mirage, an eyelid where are imprinted the dreams, hopes, and fears of each boxer. I saw appear little by little a path of some of the youths towards silence, towards obscurity.

**The artist: Albert Corbi Llorens**

Holding a diploma both from the University of Alicante and the School of Arts ofValencia, Albert Corbi Llorens collaborates with several Spanish journals (El Mundo,El Pais) and television stations (TV3, TVG). He recently shot the photographic cam-paign « América’s Cup 2007 » for the candidature of Valencia. The exposition of the series « Red Night » from which this photograph is taken, has make the tour of Europe : Barcelona, Saragossa, San Sebastien, Marbella, Valencia, Oviedo, Arles (International Meetings of Photography). It was also published in Club Cultura in Spain and Courrier International in France.
