Beautiful French column mantel clock around 1880, ebonised case with brass line inlay, twisted pillars, undamaged condition, the timepiece with compensation pendulum, runs well. Black wooden case with thin brass line inlay, twisted and contra-twisted pillars, white enamel dial with Roman numerals, steel hands with eye, mechanical timepiece with running work and striking mechanism on full and half hours with a bell, adjustable compensation pendulum, the pendulum lens with Louis XIV motifs and head, including winding key.The rear pillars lack the brass line work, hardly visible, the dial has a small damaged spot on the edge at number VI.Dimensions approx.: 24½ cm wide, 14 cm deep, 46½ cm high.Beautiful column mantel clock.Free registered shipping or pick-up on appointment.
