At Studio Roeper, we operate our own sawmill which means that we have access to some of the most beautiful walnut slabs in the world. For this coffee table, we hand select only the very finest slabs for our clients. The top is finished to a buttery smooth hand rubbed oil finish which is both durable and zero VOC. The lumber is entirely sustainable, derived from locally salvaged trees. We recycle trees that otherwise get diverted to landfill or get shredded into mulch. The steel legs are decorated with steel corner rounds and finished in a Japan Brown patina, a complement to the reddish brown hues of the California Walnut. The partial live edge of the slab is highlighted with gold leaf. Made to order in custom sizes and finishes at our California artisan workshop.
