PRODUCT INFORMATION
DETAILED PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
We sold a Breitling Bentley Edition with the same functions few years ago and that owner paid an equivalent of S$72000 for it back in 2005 so as you can see, our price is most incredible.
Other than the Tourbillon, this is the most complicated wristwatch ever produced by Breitling & this grand complications has a total of 7 complications, 10 hands & 3 indicator discs. It is indeed quite a challenge to identify & understand all the functions @ a glance. This is an impressive watch that tempts the most serious collector.
Launched in 2002, to mark the 50th Anniversary of the Navitimer, Breitling released a limited series of Perpetual Calendar chronograph in 18k rose gold case (50pcs made for this metal, another 50 in yellow gold & 25 in platinum). This Grande Complication instrument comprise of almost 500 parts. Fitted with an automatic Breitling caliber 29, this extremely beautiful & rare mechanical masterpiece indicates the day, date, week, month, season, leap year & moonphase with no need for adjustment, all with no less than 13 hands/pointers. Rightly reserved for connoisseurs, this exclusive mint condition perpetual calendar comes with complete boxes, instruction manual & certificate dated 2002. It's a very rare chance to come upon a high quality complication like this (very few are made when you compare with similar range say the IWC Portuguese Perp but way more complex & rarer) & there's clarity in the dial layout.
Only 50pcs of this were made in 18KRG which makes this a true collector's item & white dial with pink gold accents are the best combination. This watch is serial no 08 out of 50, one of the most desirable number.
Watch is in mint condition because the owner seldom used it & all functions work. You'll love this, it's so rare in the market that we don't think we'll ever see a 2nd pre-owned piece again & u save tens of thousands off a new piece. We have a collection of vintage to modern Navitimers so this will fit nicely in there but....
We have acquired this watch from the gentleman who needed cash urgently as his daughter is in hospital for an operation. Tears departed his eyes when he received the funds from us and it takes a lot for a grown man to cry. Therefore, we are going a step further. Part of the proceeds from this sale will be given to him as our goodwill. So, other than buying a bargain, you'll be doing a good deed as well. This magnificent watch is worth more than S$25000 and perhaps fetch S$30K in prestigious auctions.
