Set with old mine cut diamonds of graduated sizes, this band features a total of approximately 0.50 carats of diamonds. Grading as G/H/I color, and VS2/SI1 clarity, the five diamonds weigh between 0.08 and 0.20 carats each. The largest diamond is in the center of the ring, with the sizes decreasing towards the outside diamonds. In excellent condition, this ring is a great example of a traditional five stone diamond band which was one of the most popular rings in victorian England. Currently a size 7 1/2 US we are happy to offer expert resizing free of charge. Ring measure 5mm across the top at the widest point and tapers gradually. Mounting features the remains of an English date letter hallmark, with the rest of the hallmarks for county and gold purity having been lost during an old resizing. Mounting tests as 18 karat gold.
