The Kutchinskys came from Poland where they had been jewelers for centuries (they were also jewelers to the Court of Ludwig of Bavaria). After World War II, Kutchinsky pioneered with the use of platinum in fine jewelry and their jewelers shop in Commercial Road soon became known to lovers of fine jewelry. Then, in the late Fifties, they moved their business to Londons Knightsbridge (where you still can find a Kutchinsky store although its taken over by Moussaieff - another illustrious name in the world of high quality jewelry). Kutchinsky is still known for its high quality jewelry and use of precious stones. Eternity band - Eternity bands or Eternity rings are rings with stones, usually diamonds, of the same cut and size, set in one row all around the ring. In French they are called "alliance".
