A beautiful original victorian period mourning locket featuring a daguerreotype photo in the front and a locket of hair in the back. In excellent condition, this locket also features gorgeous hand engraving throughout and comes in it's original leather wrapped case. This locket measures 3 inches in overall length by 2 inches in width at the widest point. The locket features beautiful hand engraving on all sides of the front and back in a traditional victorian scroll work and floral manner. On the reverse, the locket features a woven lock of hair under glass with the front featuring a daguerreotype photo of a man in traditional formal victorian dress. The locket also features the man's name engraved below the hair on the reverse; Albert. Included with this locket is the original red leather wrapped case. Layaway!
