A beautiful hand crafted art deco period diamond and sapphire ring in platinum. Reminiscent of a pinwheel, this ring features a center old European cut bezel set diamond surrounded by sapphires and diamonds in a pinwheel like design. Grading as beautiful VS clarity and G color, the center is an ultra high quality well proportioned 0.67 carat old European cut diamond. Framing the center diamond, four sapphire sections each channel set with four tapered French cut sapphires are arranged in a pinwheel manner. Framing the sapphires are sections of four tapered old European cut diamonds, designed to mimic the design of the sapphires. Grading as VVS clarity and beautiful vivid blue color, the sapphires weigh a combined 0.90 carats approximately. Framing the center portion of this ring, the shoulders of the band are set with a trio of pave set single cut diamonds on each side. With a combined total of eighteen accenting diamonds, the eighteen diamonds weigh a total of 0.44 carats and grade as beautiful VS clarity and F/G color.
