An original 18th century period Georgian, rose cut diamond engagement ring in 18 karat yellow gold and silver. In remarkable and original condition, this ring features a central rose cut diamond framed by smaller rose cut diamonds set in silver topped yellow gold. Measuring 7mm by 6.5mm in diameter, the unusually large rose cut diamond is of very fine clarity and bright white color backed with traditional silver foil. Framing the center diamond, are a total of eleven additional antique rose cut diamonds set in silver atop 18 karat yellow gold. On the sides of the ring, are beautifully hand formed silver fleur de lis, complemented by scrolls of rich 18 karat yellow gold. In excellent condition, this ring appears all original including it's original 18 karat yellow gold shank. Ring measures 10mm across the top from north south at the widest point.
