This Patek Philippe was made just before the WWII and sold during the expansion of Axis power. It is signed in full on the dial as "Patek Philippe & Co Geneve" as later watches had simpler signatures. The watch has been polished over the years but an 18ct hallmark is clearly visible on the case band at 4 o'clock so the case is not over polished. The back cover snaps tightly and dial is an old refinish to the highest standard on the original plate. It is fitted with a rectangular form movement which is highly prized by collectors and finished to the highest standard even in those years. A highly collectible timepiece for the most discerning collector of fine watches. The strap is used and original while the accompanying 18KYG buckle is also an original Patek worth several hundreds.
