Designed similar to the feathers of a bird, this ring features a plethora of sparkling old European cut diamonds surrounding a central 0.76 carat GIA Certified old European cut diamond. Secured by four squared hand engraved platinum prongs, the center diamond is truly a spectacular quality and rare gem. The center diamond is certified by the Gemological Institute of America, the worlds foremost authority on diamond grading and Gemology. Grading as VVS2 clarity, the diamond is a nearly flawless gem which is rare in modern cut diamonds, and exceptionally rare in these old European cut diamonds. The diamond also grades as gorgeous ultra white G color with fantastic polish and symmetry grades of Very Good~virtually unheard of for a diamond that was cut over a century ago. Surrounding the center diamond, a total of twenty two sparkling old european cut diamonds are pave set into individual hand formed platinum half moon shaped mounts. Providing a stunning sparkling backdrop for the center diamond, the accenting diamonds are bordered by hand applied mille grain beading. Grading as VS clarity and G colorless color, the diamonds all match perfectly in keeping with the exceptional quality of this ring. The mounting, features beautiful hand engraving throughout including on the shank of the ring in a traditional highly detailed Edwardian manner.
