Rosé Miraval: A Taste of France

A sprawling property with 35 bedrooms, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt strategically purchased the Château Miraval because of the stringent privacy policies enforced in France.

Initially belonging to French nobility, ownership of Château Miraval was passed on to a renowned inventor and later, a respected musician/composer before the prominent couple acquired it. With a vineyard adjacent to their estate and their appreciation for fine wine, it inevitably lead to a collaboration with the Perrin family – who have five generations of winemakers – and the couple’s foray into winemaking.

Following the introduction of the Jolie-Pitt & Perrin rosé 2012 vintage, it placed 84th on Wine Spectator’s 100 Top Wines of the Year, solidifying its position as a first-rate rosé wine. Having been applauded for their fortitude in developing exceptional wine, the prominent couple subsequently partnered with the Perrins again to release their second highly anticipated rosé wine. Described as a seamless blend of tangerine, melon and dried red berry containing a lingering touch of spice, cream and flint, this faint blush pink wine has been lauded by the British wine publication, Decanter, for its resonating flavor and retails at HK$160 on Luxify.
