**An Early George II Silver Coffee Pot London 1731**



**A very fine early George II coffee pot of tapering circular form. The body embossed with flowers and foliage. The cast swan neck spout with leaf capped pourer and a vacant cartouche the base. The stepped dome cover with circular finial. A C-scroll fruitwood handle with thumbpiece. The base of flared skirt form.**



**Marked to the underside for London 1731 by Richard Burcombe.**



**This is a very fine quality pot in absolutely original condition with no signs of damage or repair. The handle is firm in the silver mounts with the original pins securing it. No chips or damage at all. The hinge is very good and the lid is a good fit, closing properly. Very clean to the inside. Of unusual and very elegant form with wonderful colour and patina.**
