DESCRIPTION

Antique 19th Century Georgian Solid Silver pair of large tureens & covers, each of round form, later chased in the Victorian-era and applied with very decorative cast dragon handles, each side is applied with a family crest of Dickson of Arbroath to both cartouches (Fortes Fortuna Juvat - Fortune favors the bold), each cover is surmounted by a stunning cast finial of a winged cherub.

Each part is Hallmarked English silver (925 standard), London, year 1789 (O), Maker's mark rubbed (unknown), struck with french swan import mark.

In Great Condition - No damage.
