DESCRIPTION

Antique 19th Century Indian solid silver bowl, repousse' decorated with a detailed and very crisp hunting scenes. The base is chased with a stylized elephant - figural Maker's marks are typical of the workshops active in Lucknow in the late 19th Century / early 20th Century, the silver has been tested and shows a 900+ silver standard.
