Antique 19th Century rare pair of Imperial Russian Solid Silver and cloisonne' enamel kovsh's, of traditional oval form with raised prow and hook handle, beautifully decorated with polychrome cloisonne' enamel with stylised scrolling foliage and blue beaded boarder on a patinated matted ground.

Hallmarked Russian silver 84 (875 standard), Moscow, year 1895, Assay Master (Lev Fridrikhovich Oleks), Maker's mark in cyrilic N.C (Ivan Saltykov)
