### DESCRIPTION

Antique late-19th Century Victorian very rare solid silver novelty boot shaped cup, very decorative and ornate in design, chased with scrolling foliage, grotesque masks, realistically modelled strap and buckle, the top applied with twisted rope ending in a tassel and the heal applied with a revolving spur. Hallmarked English silver (925 standard), London, Foreign (F), year 1886 (L), Importer's mark TC (Thomas Glaser), also bearing very faint Hanau pseudo marks.
