This is a lovely antique Victorian brass inkstand, circa 1850 in date. The inkstand is of rectangular shape with ornate Gothic tracery decoration, is raised on bracket feet and has elegant fluted handles. The central wafer box is flanked by a pair of original clear cut glass square inkwells. This is a beautiful object which will look lovely on any desk. Condition: In excellent condition, one of the glass inkwells has a chip but is still usable, please see photos for confirmation.
