This is an antique, English, Victorian oak larder on stand dating to circa 1900.

- In Classic Arts & Crafts styling and of Liberty quality this oak cabinet displays beautifully with medullary rays and a fine waxed finish. A substantial piece of some weight made from solid, fine cuts of English oak.

- The cupboard is raised on a stand with square section legs featuring stop ended chamfered corners united by a low stretcher and an apron decorated with a reciprocating demilune fringe detail.

- The three cupboard doors, each with field panels edged with the same demilune detail found on the Stand, close on the original brass catches and enclose voluminous storage divided with three shelves to each section.

A Fine country kitchen piece, this substantial cupboard has solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
