Beautiful 18th-century Comtoise with cartouche dial and sawn brass fret.Clock strikes every half and full hour on bell, no repetition on full hours.The clock runs for approx. 30 days, a so-called month-runner, this is achieved by an additional gear wheel for the moving and striking mechanism and heavier weights (approx. 8 kg each).The case features beautiful flat doors and back plate and a beautiful slim hand-sawn steel dials.The clock has been completely restored, disassembled and cleaned, the clock is also equipped with new red ropes and an old wire pendulum with a leaden bobbin.This clock runs and strikes as it should!The clock comes complete with bracket and winding key.
