### DESCRIPTION

Exceptional mid-20th Century Chinese solid silver-gilt sake drinking set, comprising of a large ewer, eight goblets and a large tray. Each piece is part-gilt and extremely decorative, ewer chased with scrolling foliage, flying dragons and mounted with a dragon head handle and spout. the goblets are made in complimentary style, the set stand on a large round tray engraved and embossed with Koi carps, incredible workmanship, the set is in perfect condition, complete and very rare. Hallmarked Silver (900+ standard), used in China 1930-60's for export.
