For sale is a very good quality George II Mahogany Bureau Bookcase. The top of the bookcase, has an arched pediment, with decorative hand carving all around. Below this there are two paneled doors open to show three adjustable mahogany fronted shelves. Below this, the fall front opens to reveal a fully fitted interior comprising of a central cupboard, pigeon holes and drawers, each pigeon hole with an arched curtain piece, separated by small columns. Below this are two short drawers over three long drawers. The piece stands on bracket feet, and is in very good condition for its age.
