For sale is a top quality George II Mahogany Serpentine Chest of Drawers. The chest has an arrangement of three short drawers at the top, with a further three long drawers below. Each with brass ring handles and original escutcheons. The chest of drawers also has a very nice deep serpentine front. The chest has a nice satinwood band to each front edge, and and inlay across the bottom of frieze, as well as black line inlay around each drawer This piece is in excellent condition and has been made from the highest quality materials making it a superb piece of fine English period furniture. Judging by the quality of this piece we would imagine that it was made for an important country home by a London Cabinet Maker.
