A beautiful sculpture of a writing lady leaning on a column. The work is titled 'Poésie' and is made by the French artist Henri Louis Levasseur (1853-1934). It is signed 'H. Levasseur' and has a plaque with the text 'Poésie - Par H. Levasseur'. It also has a founder's seal. It has a bronze color but is made of spelter. The pedestal and base are made of marble.
